Large VAB platforms will be moving from Oak Hill to KSC southbound on US1. There will be some southbound travel in the northbound lanes in Mims, just north of Hwy 46, and on US1 before and over the railroad bridge/marina to Garden St. The loads are scheduled to leave Oak Hill around 9:00-9:30am on MONDAY  &  TUESDAY.

K9 Officer Wins Statewide Officer Of the Year

K9 Officer Kevin Hickey

After a year in which K9 Officer Kevin Hickey was recognized as our department's "Officer of the Year 2002", and then the "Brevard County's Officer of the Year for 2002", Ofc. Hickey has now been awarded Statewide recognition by the Florida Police Chief's Association for 2002.

K9 Hickey was recognized for his outstanding work in multiple cases including traffic stops in which numerous guns and drugs were recovered.
