Thanksgiving Week: Thursday’s pickup for garbage, recycling and yard trash will be on Wednesday. There will be no other changes for the week.

CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Titusville Police Chief Anthony C. Bollinger attended the presentation in Miami Beach for Titusville Police Officer Jorge Martinez. Officer Martinez accepted his “Officer of the Year” award at the Florida Police Chief’s Association Summer Conference on Wednesday, June 30th. The ceremony took place at the Fontainbleau Resort in Miami Beach. Several members of our agency attended as well in support Officer Martinez.


Also taking place at the event, Titusville Police Chief Anthony C. Bollinger was sworn in as a board member of the Florida Police Chief’s Association.


Officer Jorge Martinez was also recognized this year as the Titusville Police Department's "Officer of the Year", and Brevard County Chief's Association "Officer of the Year -2009. 


Titusville competed against other large agencies in Florida like Orlando and Jacksonville in the large department category.


In 2002, Titusville K9 Corporal Kevin Hickey was also honored with this prestigious award when he was also chosen from a field of officers across the state as the Police Chief’s Association Officer of the Year.
