Thanksgiving Week: Thursday’s pickup for garbage, recycling and yard trash will be on Wednesday. There will be no other changes for the week.

CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Life Safety Specialist Reggie Belle

Titusville Fire and Emergency Services Department representative Reggie Belle, the department's life safety specialist, was the recipient today of of seven hundred and fifty dollars.  The Walmart Foundation Grant was presented by WalMart #649 General Manager Mitch Day.   "Walmart's generosity will help support our department's smoke detector program and provide educational safety materials to members of our community.  Every home should have a detector inside every bedroom and additional ones to protect the remaining structure.  If someone can't afford a detector, our program provides the detector and the installation at no cost." reported Mr. Belle.
