Burglary Suspect Caught in the Act

A Titusville woman was arrested for burglary at the ACE Hardware store, 3636 S. Washington last night after being caught in the act by a Titusville Police officer.


At 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 4/7/10, Officer Nic Van Cott was flagged down by a passerby reference a van parked under an overhang at the Ace Hardware building –which was closed.


When the officer approached the van, he discovered the driver was wearing gloves and he spotted merchandise from the store, including several bags of garden rocks and log edger’s inside the vehicle.


Officers Blizard, Sypien and Anderson assisted in the investigation.


ARRESTED: Janet Rose Palasz-Allen, 45, of Sky Lane Titusville.

CHARGES: Burglary to a Structure; Possession of Burglary Tools.


Booked into Brevard County Jail.
