Child Safety Day in Titusville - December 5th

Titusville Fire and Emergency Services Department is teaming up with Home Depot of Titusville, Safe Kids of Brevard and the Pilot Club of Titusville to present a Child Safety Day at the Home Depot located at Cheney Highway and Columbia Blvd. in Titusville.  The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2009.

At the event will be child safety seat inspections and low cost seats for purchase, if needed.  Bicycle helmet fittings will be conducted and bicycle helmets will be provided for those who cannot afford them.  Fire safety information will be presented, along with arrangements for the installation of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the home.

This safety effort is designed to encourage proper child protection in vehicles, on bicycles, and in the home.  We urge all parents to stop by and learn more about ensuring the safety of their children.
