Thanksgiving Week: Thursday’s pickup for garbage, recycling and yard trash will be on Wednesday. There will be no other changes for the week.

CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

FAMILY FUN DAY: Saturday, October 10th, 10:00 am - 2:00 p.m.   American Police Hall of Fame, 5350 Horizon Drive (across from Astronaut Hall of Fame, east of U.S. Highway 1, off S.R. 405)

In recognition of National Fire Prevention Week, Titusville Fire and Emergency Services is partnering with the American Police Hall of Fame to present the 6th annual Family Fun Day.  The event will be held at the American Police Hall of Fame in Titusville.  Other sponsors include the Titusville Police Department, Brevard County Sheriffs Office, and Riverside Bank.

Fire trucks, both new and antique, will be on display.  Sparky the Fire Dog will be there to greet the kids, and bounce houses, a rock climbing wall and other entertainment provided by Radio Disney will be available.  Fire safety information, in conjunction with this year's national theme--STAY FIRE SMART! DON'T GET BURNED--will also be distributed.
