CELEBRATE FLAG DAY!

Titusville's Flag and Memorial Committee is sponsoring a Flag Day Ceremony on Sunday, June 14th, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Y.M.C.A., 2400 Harrison Street in Titusville. This annual ceremony recognizes our community's patriotic heritage by honoring the American Flag. The program will include Flag Day special presentations, patriotic music with performances by the Tituville High School Brass Ensemble, and a reading about our Flag from Betsy Ross herself, along with approximately 25 color guard units from various community and fraternal organizations to honor our American Flag
Also during the ceremony, the finalists for the 2009 Titusville Community Service Award will be recognized for their spirit of community service and their dedication to our community. The Award Recipient for 2009, from among the finalists, will be announced and presented with their award.
Community members, this is your opportunity celebrate patriotism, to wave the American Fag, to wear your red, white and blue and to honor our flag and our community members. Please join us!
