Titusville Fire Chief Chuck Bogle and his crew from Fire Station #11 were the recipients of four dozen stuffed animals from the Central Brevard Chapter of IAAP.  "It is our hope that these stuffed animals will give comfort to children during times of emergencies." said Project Chairperson Brenda McGovern.  "This project has been one of our favorites because it has the potential to touch so many children that live in the city of Titusville." Lieutenant/Paramedic Bridget Kozielski in the past has used the soft toys to calm children during traumatic events, expressing they are a comfort for children.  "Whether it is the child that was injured or they are scared because we are treating Mom or Dad, it helps to have the animal to hold and hug."

Chief Bogle expressed his appreciation to Ms. McGovern and her organization.  "Our supply of animals was depleted and we appreciate this group taking on such a worthwhile project that benefits our most vulerable citizens."
