In Jail, NO BOND!

A man wanted for a violent shooting was captured last night by our new “Crime Suppression Unit”. This new unit, which hit the streets in January, specializes in capturing wanted criminals and improving the communication between patrol officers and investigators.

ARRESTED: Edward Antonio “Slap” Williams, D.O.B. 3/26/86, of Titusville, was taken into custody late last night in the area of Alan Dr. Titusville on a Warrant for Attempted Murder & Use of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony.

The warrant stems from an incident back on October 26, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. when VICTIM: Jeffrey Hamilton, D.O.B. 12/26/77 of South Park Ave Titusville was shot at Queen St. and Deleon Ave. after an ongoing feud with the suspect.

Although Edward “Slap” Williams has been the primary suspect because of the known feud with Hamilton and some tips our investigators got, it was only recently that the victim was able to identify his shooter from his hospital bed and give detectives the final evidence they needed to obtain the arrest warrant.

Williams was booked into Brevard County Jail and is being held with NO BOND.
