Motorcyclist Seriously Injured on A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway

At approximately 2:30 PM on Monday, December 18th 2017, Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at the intersection of A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway (S.R. 406) and Indian River Avenue.
The preliminary investigation revealed that William Leslie Walls, 88, of Mims, who was traveling northbound on Indian River Avenue and driving a 2013 Buick LaCrosse, attempted to cross both eastbound lanes of A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway and enter the center median.
Wells invaded the right of way and struck an adult male victim who was operating a classic style BMW motorcycle that was traveling eastbound on A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway.
The victim, who was wearing a motorcycle safety helmet, was air-lifted to a local hospital with serious injuries.
There were no other injuries.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion by traffic crash investigators.
