The City of Titusville, Florida / Police / NewsOfficers Exchange Gunfire with SuspectTitusville Police responded to a report of a man with a gun at the apartments located on Mayfair Way at approximately 5:00 AM on Sunday November 19th 2017.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that officers briefly exchanged gunfire with the suspect who discharged his handgun. The suspect was quickly taken into custody.
There were no injuries
Harland Ramon Johnson, 22, of Titusville, was arrested and charged with Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphilia.
Johnson was booked into the Brevard County Jail without bond.
In compliance with Titusville Police Department policy, an Internal Investigation is currently being completed.
