(Titusville, FL)- After a bank robbery occurred at the Regions Bank, 905 Cheney Hwy just after noontime on Friday, August 18th, one suspect was captured within hours. A second suspect was taken into custody  on an arrest the following morning in the Ormond Beach area.

GALEN LEE MATTHEWS, 41, of Titusville, was spotted by detectives and members of the Countywide "Game-Over" task force and arrested without incident on Garden St. at 9:00 p.m., about 8 hours after the robbery. An arrest warrant had been obtained after he was identified by Detectives as the suspect who entered the Regions Bank, handed a bank teller a note implying he had a weapon and then demanded money.

Later in the evening, detectives identified an accomplice in the bank robbery and obtained an arrest warrant. JAMES BENJAMIN COMEAUX, 20, of Willis Drive Titusville, was located in Ormond Beach and taken into custody the following morning.
Investigators determined that COMEAUX helped MATTHEWS plan the robbery, and he drove the vehicle they fled in.
