Week of May 28 - Monday’s collection for garbage and yard waste will be on Tuesday and Tuesday’s collection will be on Wednesday. There will be no other changes for the week.
The City of Titusville, Florida / Police / NewsDetectives Arrest Child Molester Titusville Police Detectives arrested a twenty-three year old Titusville man for the sexual battery of a child.
Detectives were alerted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Broward County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 7:00 PM on Tuesday June 20st 2017 in reference to the suspected molestation of a missing child from their jurisdiction.
Within two hours, the suspect was found at his residence, 154 C Court Street, with the fourteen year old victim and taken into custody by Titusville Police Detectives.
The victim was placed into protective custody.
The preliminary investigation revealed that there had been an inappropriate communication between the suspect and the victim via the internet. The suspect drove to Deerfield Beach, picked up the victim and brought the victim back to Titusville where the crimes occurred.
Terell Voshun Akeem Brandon, 23, of Titusville, was charged with two felonies; Lewd and Lascivious Battery on a Child over 12 years old; and Possession of Child Pornography.
Brandon was booked into the Brevard County Jail and held on a $55,000 bond.
