Pedestrian Dies after Traffic Crash

At approximately 9:30 PM on Monday, March 27th 2017, Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.


The preliminary investigation revealed that Keith Andrew Bryant, 35, of Cocoa, walked into oncoming traffic of the southbound lane at the 5200 block of South Washington Avenue and was struck by a 2015 Dodge Ram truck driven by David Andrew Utecht, 52, of Rockledge.

Bryant was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased at approximately 11:00 PM.


Utecht and his two passengers were not injured in the crash.


This traffic crash homicide remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion by traffic crash investigators.
