CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Truck Crashes into Lobby of Titusville Post Office

Titusville Police Officers responded to a traffic crash at the United States Post Office, located at 2503 South Washington Avenue, on Friday March 24th 2017 at approximately 11:45 AM.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that Gordon Eugene Brown, 82, of Titusville, inadvertently pressed the accelerator instead of the brake as he was attempting to park his 2015 Nissan Frontier truck in a designated parking spot. The truck crashed through the front glass doors and came to a stop in the lobby of the post office.
Brown was not injured in the crash.
No one inside the post office was injured.
This is an ongoing active traffic crash investigation being conducted by the Titusville Police Department.
