James Burket is City Employee of the Month

Congratulations to Detective James Burket for being chosen the City of Titusville’s Employee of the Month!

Detective Burket, a four-year veteran of our department, was presented the honor from Titusville City Manager, Scott Larese, on February 28th 2017, during the City Council Special Recognitions meeting at City Hall.

Detective Burket is being recognized for his extraordinary effort in locating and apprehending violent drug dealers who have been distributing the lethal drug Fentanyl within our community.

Detective Burket was also able to obtain multiple search warrants leading to the confiscation of thousands of dollars’ worth of heroin, several pounds of marijuana, five firearms, stockpiles of ammunition, and tens of thousands of dollars in cash.

The Titusville Police Department is truly grateful for his dedication, and this award is a City-wide “Thank You” to Detective James Burket, for his tireless work effort and endless fight to keep illegal drugs out of Titusville.
