Thanksgiving Week: Thursday’s pickup for garbage, recycling and yard trash will be on Wednesday. There will be no other changes for the week.

CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Michelle Flowers Honored by NAACP

Michelle Flowers 2016 NAACP Unsung Hero


Michelle Flowers, Titusville Police Department Victim’s Advocate, has been named a NAACP 2016 Unsung Hero Honoree.

 

Michelle was recognized at the 33rd Annual Banquet on Saturday October 1st 2016. The event was hosted by the North Brevard County Branch of the NAACP at the Space Coast Convention Center in Cocoa, Florida.

 

The honor was presented to Michelle by Banquet Chairperson, Sonya Mallard, and North Brevard NAACP President, Randle B. Clay, because of her tireless work within the community and most recently, her selfless dedication and compassionate efforts for the victims of the Pulse Night Club Shooting in Orlando.

 

“Our department is extremely proud to see Michele recognized, her dedication over the past 11 years has helped give a voice and empowerment to thousands of victims”, said Deputy Chief Todd Hutchinson, who attended the event.
