SPLASH PAD REPAIR UPDATE: Public Works expects to reopen the Splash Pad by mid-day on Monday, June 25, provided there are no unforeseen circumstances. Workers are wrapping up repairs, and time is needed to back-fill the dig site and have the pool maintenance vendor fill the tanks and test the water. Thank you for your patience.

The refuge, consists of 140,000 acres of coastal dunes, saltwater estuaries and marshes, freshwater impoundments, scrub, pine and hardwood hammocks providing habitat for more than 1,500 species of plants and animals. 

Recreational opportunities include: birding and wildlife observation, Black Point Wildlife Drive (8 miles), manatee observation deck, fishing and hunting, boating, kayaking and more. The Visitor Information Center is open 9 am to 4 pm, located 4 miles east of Titusville, Florida.
