|Description: ||ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:|
This is skilled work in the operation of solid waste collection equipment. Incumbent must work effectively so as not to impede the progress of related operations. Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of standard construction equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
One year of related experience operating and maintaining heavy trucks and equipment is required.
Must possess a valid Florida Drivers’ License and the ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers’ License within 60 days of employment. Subject to emergency call out during off-duty hours and on weekends as required. CDL preferred.
Sufficient physical strength and ability to perform required manual tasks occasionally under adverse weather conditions. Bending, stooping, pulling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds is required.
