|Description: ||ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:|
Manual labor in a variety of maintenance activities in the Water Reclamation Division of the Water Resources Department. Labor may include grounds maintenance, weeding, mowing, edging, and custodial tasks, floor polishing, painting, etc. Knowledge of applicable safety hazards and precautions required. Willingness to perform routine unskilled work and ability to lift heavy articles required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Possession of a valid driver's license. Subject to emergency call out during off-duty hours and on weekends as required.
Tasks on a daily basis involve bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Sufficient physical strength and agility to perform heavy manual labor required. Work is occasionally performed under adverse weather conditions.
